Obedience Training
Our core obedience program installs reliable commands through positive reinforcement, clear markers, and graduated distraction proofing. Ideal for owners who want a dog they can take anywhere — restaurants, hiking trails, family gatherings — with complete confidence.
What Your Dog Will Learn
- Stronger bond and communication
- Improved control and management
- Reduced stress and frustration
- Mental and physical stimulation

Step By Step Process
- Complimentary Evaluation — Every obedience program begins with a complimentary in-person evaluation at our facility to assess your dog's temperament, behavior, and training goals.
- Application & Enrollment — After completing the application, your dog's board-and-train program will be scheduled, along with a convenient drop-off date.
- 3–4 Week Board & Train Program — Your dog will stay at our facility for a 3–4 week training program designed to build reliable obedience and lasting habits.
- 14 Essential Obedience Commands — Your dog will learn 14 foundational obedience commands with an emphasis on reliability, consistency, and responsiveness.
- Leash Manners & Socialization — Training includes proper leash manners, controlled socialization, and appropriate behavior in everyday environments.
- Threshold Etiquette — Your dog will learn to calmly enter and exit doors, gates, vehicles, and other thresholds under your direction.
- Weekly Progress Updates — Receive one video update each week so you can follow your dog's progress throughout the training program.
- Owner Transfer Sessions — At the conclusion of training, you'll participate in one-on-one transfer sessions with your trainer and dog to learn proper handling techniques and how to confidently maintain the training at home.
- Lifetime Training Support — We stand behind the training we provide. As long as the original owner retains the dog, we offer lifetime support for the specific obedience behaviors and commands taught during the program.

Frequently asked questions.
Obedience builds commands and reliable responses — sit, stay, heel, recall, place. Behavioral modification corrects existing emotional issues like fear, reactivity, territoriality, lunging, jumping, or resource guarding. Many dogs need both.
